I am about to upgrade all of my crunchies with new Rx batteries after a mishap on the last day of Mecca.........lost radio contact with my Razor and crashed into a tree.

After that, Im not taking anymore chances with batteries that will only hold their charge for 24 hours (the battery in the Razor was charged the day before).  All of my batteries have had about 2 years of regular use, but some have sat around in planes for a few months without use, and have completely discharged.  They now wont hold full charge, even after heavy cycling.

So Im going for the new Eneloop batteries.  They are a high quality Nimh battery that holds up to 90% charge over 6 months, and up to 85% charge after 1 whole year! 

Better still, Andrew at Falcon Gliders is now selling them, and has a huge range available at VERY low prices!  You will have a hard time finding cheaper.
